Veterans and Memorial Mass

Every year we celebrate our Veterans’ service to our Country and remember our deceased Brothers from the Santa Maria Assembly. We celebrate our Veterans at a Mass, and remember or Brothers with a service at a dinner that follows the Mass.

This year, the programs will take place at St. Phillip the Apostle Church in Millersville beginning with the 5:00 Mass. Honor Guard and Flag bearers are asked to report by 4:30. This year, the dinner that follows is combined with the Church’s Veterans Mass, so all Veterans will be invited. The church is providing the meal, and our Assembly is asked to supply some servers. A Veteran will be speaking at the dinner.

Help is need for this event as follows: 12:30 to set up the room. Some help in the kitchen and several servers during the dinner. Note: Part of the set up is to put away the train show items that takes place the morning of this day. Come early if you would like to see the train show. Contact Brian Smith at 717-669-3913 to volunteer to help.

Please RSVP to Brother Nick Potente at 717-872-6997 by the October Assembly meeting.
